MEET THE FOUNDER
TallMoi was founded by Bukola Bankole, an entrepreneur, tall woman and a Sub-Saharan African immigrant.
Bukola grew up surrounded by businesswomen, tall parents and an entrepreneurial spirit. She was always tall and always struggled with finding clothing that fit her well. Tired of having to settle for cropped tops and pants that didn’t quite fit her, Bukola resolved to make clothes that were a celebration of tall fashion.
She wanted tall women everywhere to celebrate their height and dress like they owned the world. This experience inspired her to create a clothing brand that created fashion for tall women.

With a successful career as a Certified Agile Program Consultant (SPC) and Project Management Professional (PMP) delivering IT Projects in the US public and private sectors, she leads TallMoi and is mainly self-taught in fashion design and production.
Bukola resides in Maryland with her husband and two tall daughters. She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, reading and winding down at the nearby Chesapeake Beach.
